The first thing you need to do is to add your character's profile. To do this, type your character's name (Given name and surname) in the specified fields, select his/her server from the drop-down list, and click the button. Your new profile should appear in the section just below the form. You can add up to a maximum of 10 profiles per Member account.
Managing Your Profiles
You can use the Actions and Settings buttons in the Character Lists section of the Bazaar Manager to manage your profiles. Under actions, you can use to completely delete a profile, to remove all the items listed within that profile, and to verify your profile (if you haven't already).
There are two buttons under Settings. Clicking on will display a window that allows you to set your character's status (Online/Offline), the number of hours he/she will appear as Online, and your character's Location so other players will know where to look for you in-game.
Managing Your Retainer
Clicking on will pull up a window that allows you to add your Retainer to your profile. Simply enter your Retainer's name as well as his location (City and Ward) and click "Save" to add him. If you already have a Retainer listed, you can use this window to edit his information and status, or delete him entirely. You can also use this window to set your retainer's status to Online/Offline and the number of hours he will appear as Online.
In the Bazaar listing, your character's name will be displayed next to your Retainer's name by default. If you prefer to not display your character's name next to your Retainer's, select the option in the Retainer Settings window.
Verifying Your Profile
Upon creating your account, there will be a third button under Actions in your Profile List: the button. This allows you to verify that you are the actual owner of the character listed, so that no one else can use your character's name when creating a Bazaar List. To verify your profile, click on the button and follow the steps indicated in the pop-up window.
Adding Items
There are two ways to add items to your profile. The first is by using the "Add Item For" buttons in the Bazaar Manager, and the second is use the "Add to Bazaar" button found in any item details page.
Adding Items using the Bazaar Manager
There are four buttons in your Bazaar Manager: , , and . When you click on one of these buttons, you can use the search window that pops up to search for the item you'd like to add. Once you find the item, click on the checkbox beside its name to select it.
You can use the form at the bottom of the search window to specify details for the item that you are about to add, like its Quantity, Quality, and Unit Price. There is a drop down list of your available retainer/s which you can use to add the specified item to their inventory. For stacks of multiple pieces of one item, the total price for the stack will be calculated automatically based on the Quantity and Unit Price you entered. If you want a set price in mind, you can click on "Is Set" checkbox and specify a different price for the entire stack.
For items listed as and , you can select another item to offer in exchange instead of setting an amount of gil. To do this, click , search for and select the desired item, and click on .
Adding Items using the button
The second way to add items to your profile is to go to the item's details page and click on the button beside the box. Just fill out the form that appears when you click the button, and click the button.
Bulk actions allow you to manage multiple items easily. Simply select the items that you want the action to be applied to, select the desired action, and click on . These are the bulk actions available to you:
allows you to "update" items by refreshing their timestamps.
hides items from the Bazaar list.
sets hidden items to visible.
completely removes items from your Bazaar.
Managing Your Items
All added items will appear in the
Buying/Selling Stats
Item details pages display Buying and Selling stats for items. These give you a quick overview of how many of those items are being sold or sought out for purchase on each server (based on what is currently listed in our Bazaar). Use the "Display Server" drop-down menu (beside the "Add to Bazaar" button) to specify which server's Buying/Selling stats you want to view.
Browsing the Bazaar
If you want to browse the full list of items that are up for sale or purchase in the Bazaar, go to the Bazaar page. You can use different filters to go through the list and find specific items. The filters include item Name, Unit Price, Server, Type (Buying, Selling, For Repair or Trade), Server, City and Ward, Merchant Type (Player or Retainer), and Status (Online or Offline).
